To change the server name that will be displayed to other players in-game, follow these easy steps:
Log into your Game Server Dashboard and select your Rust server.
Go to the Console tab under the System menu and click "Stop".
Power off your server, this is crucial when editing file contents so that nothing is damaged, goes missing, or overlaps and glitches. Also, so that when you start your server backup afterwards your changes are immediately applied.
Locate the Configuration menu on the left-hand side, use the dropdown and click the Startup Parameters tab.
Under "Server Name", enter your desired name.
