Wiping a Rust Server

  • Log into your and select your Rust server.

  • Go to the Console tab under the System menu and click "Stop".

    • Power off your server, this is crucial when editing file contents so that nothing is damaged, goes missing, or overlaps and glitches. Also, so that when you start your server backup afterwards your changes are immediately applied.

  • Locate the Management menu, select the File Manager from the drop down, locate and open the "server" folder.

  • Open the "rust" folder and delete the .db files to reset player data, additionally, delete the .map/sav files to reset the map.

Once you have finished, click "Save File" and you are ready to start your newly wiped server!
