So you've gotten all the way to the server settings in the dashboard, but now what?

Step 4

Start your Ark: Survival Evolved Server

  • After clicking on the server's name, you will be brought directly to the "Console" tab in the System menu.

  • It's finally time to start your new server, go ahead and click the "Start" button.

Step 5

Connecting to your Ark: Survival Evolved Server

Now that your server is up and running, it's time to connect with your friends in your own Jurassic paradise.

  • On the "Server Details" tab of the System menu, locate the IP information, copy the IP and Port.

Using Steam

  • Go to Steam, on the top left choose "View" then "Game Servers"

  • Go to the "Favorites" tab and click the "Add Favorite server by IP address" plus symbol button.

  • Paste the IP: Port that you copied from the Server Details tab in the "Add Server by IP" text box, then click "Okay".

  • Open your Ark: Survival Evolved game in Steam and click "Join Ark" on the main menu.

  • In the bottom left, click on "Session Filter" and select "Favorites", then click "Refresh".

  • The server should show up in the server selection list!

Using Epic Launcher

  • Start a single-player game of Ark: Survival Evolved and create a new character

  • Enter the following command in the in-game console, and paste the IP: Port you copied earlier:

    • example IP:Port 12.345.67.891:55555

open 12.345.67.891:55555
  • Hit "Enter" on your keyboard and you should connect to the server!
