This Dashboard is only available to those selected to have access, please do not request access as this is currently a Beta testing environment. Thank you for your understanding!
On the "Manage IPs" page, click the cogwheel icon on the IP that you're wanting to manage.
Sometimes IPs will have filters that are already present, but they may not appear automatically. Or the filters have been changed by another user and you don't have the most recent version on your Shield.
To verify that the IP's filters are the most up-to-date, be sure to click the "Sync" button at the top-right each time!
Batch Games Rules for FiveM Citys
Adding Singular Rules
Creating Profiles of Preset Rules (coming soon...)
On the top right beside "Search Rules", click the "Add New..." drop-down menu, then click "Create Game Filters".
Once inside the new page to create game filters, you will see many settings. DO NOT PANIC!
We have made the default settings that appear to be the best standard filters for DDoS attacks.
If you need to make changes to the default ports, just do that here for each (i.e. you're using a different set of port(s) than 30120 &/or 40120). Once you have made the changes, scroll down and click "Create".
If you're using default ports simply scroll to the base of the page and click "Create".
Unless instructed by our team, do not modify the default rules. Only adjust the ports for your server—nothing else.
When you "Create" filters, all players will be dropped from your server and must all reconnect again.
If you delete filters, players are not dropped, this is only when you create new filters and apply them.
This is so the firewall is able to filter the traffic according to all rules that have been applied, not just the past rules that were presently active prior to the newly applied rules.
Once you click "Create", the filters will automatically be applied.
After you have set up and applied the base filters above, or if you would like to create rules one at a time, go to "Create Network Filters".
You will have the following settings:
TCP
(Transmission Control Protocol) – A connection-based protocol that ensures data is sent and received correctly. It’s reliable but slightly slower due to error checking
OR
UDP
(User Datagram Protocol) – A connectionless protocol that sends data quickly without checking if it arrives. It’s faster but less reliable, games and streaming services primarily use this protocol.
Once you have input the above information, click "Add".
Remember that when you create and apply/add any new rules/filters, then all players will be dropped if you server is currently online.
Removing rules does not drop players.
Now that you have learned about creating singular rules and creating a batch of filters, lets step up our game by creating a profile of preset rules.
Why create a profile? It's like when you are playing a game, and you lost the boss fight, or got so far without a check point, so you load your previous saved game slot.
This is similar, you create different presets of filters so that when a certain attack occurs, you can go back and load your pre-made save that you can deploy instantly to filter the attack.
More coming soon....
